Matamata- Hobbiton

I think I travel to satiate my own curiosities about the world. Most of us do. I gravitate towards things that I have been thinking or dreaming about for ages. But tripping to Hobbiton taught me something else. Lean in to the curiosities of others when you can.

On occasion, it can crack your mind open to their realities even if it first it can see quite not your thing. You begin to see where their curiosities lie and where their eyes are dazed. Although a movie fanatic, Hobitton didn’t quite catch on with me for some reason. However for two of my travel buddies, Hobbiton was that place where their childhood came alive.
